Et voila pour le fun ce que ça donne :

Il en demeure pas moins que je trouve le nouveau logo très réussit. Ça amène du neuf !
Quant au mien...

I prefer our ugly jersey than having 10 minutes of advertising during each period...Doug a écrit :Why don't they sell jerseys with the logo sewn on rather than printed? I mean it looks horrible when it's printed.. Anyway those europeans jerseys with adds all over it are so ugly!!
The jersey deisgn is Chris McSorley's idea only. PG SA is responsible for the merchandising.swissgripen a écrit :Yet again the club miss out on a perfect opportunity to create a stunning set of uniforms! When will they learn, until they get rid of PG SA they are doomed to being worse than an NLB club in terms of merchandising.
The home uniform is certainly a step up from last seasons and while still not perfect, it's a good starting point. The placement of the eagle logo on the sleeves is a nice touch and the lack of sponsors on the front creates a very impressive appearance. However, the idea to NOT continue the centre band around to the back (like the Montreal Canadians or even the PreSeason jersey) is just a STUPID ploy to get people to buy the jerseys with names on the back. Not nice when the jerseys already cost 150+
As for the away... how lazy were the designers at PG SA?! Well we all know how lazy they are from the fan items they keep releasing. The design is the EXACT same as last seasons, apart from swapping it out the main logo and replacing it with the Eagle logo. How hard would it be to go white as well? A colour that has been in the history of GSHC since the merger of UGS and SHC!
Let's hope they don't mess up the special jersey for the "winter classic" at Stade de Geneve this coming January. Try to involve the fans this time eh?
Update: Ok rant over, and I do understand that everyone has different tastes... but this something that the club needs to address! Try getting http://www.icethetics.info involved in a competition to design the winter classic jersey!
Yeah sure, but I'd rather buy my jersey $300 instead of buying a cheaper one that looks horrible. But oh well, I hope that you'll have the good idea to release a throwback jersey for the Winter Classic WITHOUT advertisements.. There's also something else I wouldn't mind seeing in the shop, player tshirts, like in the NHL. You could do some of the well-known players.. I'm sure you'd sell quite a few of those because it's a lot more cheaper than jerseys.GSHC SA a écrit :The jersey deisgn is Chris McSorley's idea only. As for the printed jersey, it's only recently that player jersey received sewn part (i.e. logos, numbers and namebands). Before that, they were all printed. That's because it cost, for the team, 120+ per player, and lot more for part-sewn or full sewn. Just to remind you, a real NHL jersey is sold 299$ without name and number (unless there is an offer)
Well, as much as I love Chris, and think he's a fantastic coach for GSHC... maybe leave the designing of the jerseys to people who actually know what they are doing. After the Eagle Jersey of 2007/2008, The simple jersey of 2009/2010 & the first jersey after the rebrand in 2011/2012.... we've not had much luck with the our jerseys. Let the fans decide on a jersey. Plus, for christ sakes, do a proper launch for the jerseys. The sponsors will appreciate it, the fans will get excited and it will look good for the media. I mean, last season we found out what the jerseys looked like on the night of the opening game. Would you ever see an NHL team do that... no chance. They spend weeks building up to a launch event, or do a teaser campaign!GSHC SA a écrit : The jersey design is Chris McSorley's idea only. PG SA is responsible for the merchandising.
